With fall and the holidays on the way, some girls are looking forward to wearing cute sweaters, knee high boots, and preppy trench coachs. Others are simply excited to that its football season or they are excited about finally getting that pumpkin flavored coffee confection. Me? I am most looking forward to walking in to my closet and pulling my red bandage dress back into rotation. I can’t wait to pull the satiny, structured dress to the front of my closet. I am just waiting to see the scarlet fabric shine as I try it on in the mirror again.
Red is perfect for this time of year. It brings warmth and cheer. In the fall, the red mimics the crimson maples. In the winter, it becomes the perfect holiday dress. From my office party to going out with friends to celebrate, my red bandage dress makes my holidays merrier. Of course, I already have the perfect Valentine’s Day date outfit. The color makes me look like a sweetheart but the cut of the dress is sexy. The quintessential Valentine’s Day combination, no?
My bandage dress is my secret weapon in my closet. With my dress, I can go from sweatpants to glam at breakneck speed. I pair the dress with nude pumps, and minimal jewelry like small pearl earrings. The dress really does all of the work: sucking in my middle and accentuating my rear. It basically makes me look like I spend far more time at the gym than I do .The fabric of my bandage dress hugs my curves tightly creating that beautiful silhouette. Think Spanx but like a high fashion dress, not like Bridget Jones underwear. So as you can imagine, this style is flattering because the stretchy strips used to make the dress are actually contorting your body.
